We are hiring! Get doula training through BBC and become a Perinatal Support Doula (PSD) on our team! This position is a part time contractor position. This position will likely not replace fulltime employment. PSP Certification is REQUIRED as part of hiring. PSP Certification is different from basic doula training as there is an interview process. Certification is $800.00 and is available to all applicants we intend to hire ( Extended payment plans available).

The Perinatal Support Specialist will be a detailed, mostly self-directed and disciplined team member with a passion for birth equity, improving birth outcomes and supporting mothers during all perinatal stages. The purpose of this position is to ensure positive birth outcomes in the Akron and Cleveland community identified hotspots. This role requires training with little to no absences, some travel, and organization to insure time management and modeling for clients.

*This training is only available for women in the community with household incomes of $70,000 or less who are not employed by health institutions or partner organizations (ie. Case, UH, Neighborhood Connections, Famicos, The Cleveland Clinic).
